Janus/Ghost Stories (1999)
Janus/Ghost Stories was
a telematic dance, music and video work, linking Arizona
and California. Embodying the concept of "distributed
performance",
dancers in both locations were linked by a two-way videoconferencing
system, accompanied by a musician in California and a live
video animation performer in Arizona. The video animation
explored body representations, systems of containment and
acts of breaking boundaries.
