The Sacre Project

The Dance, Drama and Music departments at UC Irvine’s Claire Trevor School of the Arts join forces to re-envision The Rite of Spring as a radically deconstructed performance event combining the strategies of performing arts and media installation to examine ritual, polyphony, embodiment and memory. It’s being presented at UCI in conjunction with the annual faculty dance concert, Feb 20-24, 2013, and at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in conjunction with Pacific Symphony, June 6-8, 2013.
